Job Description
We're looking for a Senior Game Developer to join our on-site team and lead development efforts on our innovative mobile game projects.
Entertale Games is seeking a talented Senior Game Developer to join our creative team at our main office. As a Senior Game Developer, you'll play a key role in bringing our game concepts to life, from prototype to production.
You'll work with a diverse team of artists, designers, and engineers to create engaging, polished gaming experiences that captivate our players. Your expertise and leadership will help shape both our games and our development processes.
Working on-site enables direct collaboration with the entire creative team, faster iteration, and a unified vision for our games. This is an opportunity to make a significant impact at a growing game studio and contribute to titles that will be enjoyed by millions of players worldwide.
Responsibilities
- Lead development on game projects, overseeing implementation from concept to launch
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient game code following best practices
- Design and implement core gameplay systems and mechanics
- Optimize game performance across target platforms
- Collaborate directly with artists and designers to implement visual assets and game features
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical direction to the team
- Participate in game design discussions and contribute creative ideas
- Implement analytics and monitoring systems to track player behavior
- Fix bugs and improve existing game features
- Research and evaluate new technologies and techniques to improve our games
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional game development experience
- Strong programming skills with C#, C++, or similar languages
- Extensive experience with at least one major game engine (Unity preferred)
- Shipped at least 2 commercial games, preferably on mobile platforms
- Solid understanding of game physics, animation systems, and UI development
- Experience with 3D mathematics, algorithms, and data structures relevant to games
- Knowledge of mobile development constraints and optimization techniques
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Self-motivated with the ability to work in a collaborative office environment
- Ability to work on-site at our main office
Nice to Have
- Experience with multiplayer game development
- Knowledge of backend systems integration with game clients
- Experience with shader programming and graphics optimization
- Familiarity with analytics implementation and player metrics
- Understanding of free-to-play mechanics and monetization strategies
- Experience with procedural content generation
- Knowledge of AR/VR development
- Game design experience or education
